Built and run by the Minor Clinic in England, this car is powered by a 1275cc Turbocharged A+Series engine. As well as the obvious roof chop, note that the door handles have been removed and the wheel arches flared. The roll bar substantially improves the rigidity of the body by joining the floor to the top of the door frame and across to the other side. Also, the doors have both been welded shut for even more strength.
Have a close look at the speedo ... When driving at night there's no need for dashboard lights anymore. At the 10,20,30 etc MPH marks there are little LED lights that light up as the needle passes them. Count the lights and you know what speed you're doing - within 10mph anyway. The fuel guage has similar lights for full, half and empty. Very nice!
