'NWL576' is the registration plate of the first Morris Minor ever made.
It was in the late Seventies I think that the Heritage Motor Centre (UK) did a search for the first mass-produced Minor found that Number One did in fact still exist. They managed to purchase it from the owner for the princely sum of a brand new Minor 1000.
The car was in tatty shape at the time but has since been totally restored to it's original condition and is now taken to Morris Minor and Classic Car shows around the UK.
