August 2001 I attended a local hotrod show at the old Brooklands airfield in Surrey, 'Wheels Day' held by Surret Street Rodders, and on my return to the Trav after checking out the hundreds of cool rods and custom cars I found a business card on my windscreen.
The card was from the editor of Street Machine magazine, the biggest and best street and strip magazine available in the UK. Editor Richard Nichols was inviting me to give him a ring about a possible feature! Awesome :D I was on the phone straight away organising a photo-shoot.
Well, the photographer has been, the article has been printed and as Dr Hook once said ".. I bought five copies for my mother..." :)
