'Stutter Rap (No Sleep 'Til Bedtime)'

This song parodied the Beastie Boys, who were making their noise in the late 1980s. It reached #4 in the UK in January 1988. Lead singer Tony Hawks has played a number of roles in the space comedy TV program 'Red Dwarf' - a lisping food dispenser and a suitcase.The band character, Morris Minor, is a reference to the Beastie Boys' use of Volkswagen 'VW' logos as pendants (which sparked a spate of thefts of the logos from cars across the UK). The Majors consisted of Phil Errup and Rusty Wing - again, both car parodies. They also had a second single, 'Here Comes The Chorus', which flopped.
