1275cc Midget-powered, this Ute used to be a '56 Van. Now sporting fibreglass nose cone & spoiler, aluminium tailgate & tonneau cover, Rover 200 spoiler, custom 4-by-2 rear chassis rails and 12-point roll cage, the look is a little different these days.
The engine has an 8-port head, sprint camshaft, stainless steel exhaust twin 40 IDF Webers and 110bhp at the flywheel! Gearbox is a Toyota Celica 5-speed.
Brakes are 11 inch Lotus discs with 3-pot calipers at the front, followed by Ford Corsair 2000 9.5 drums at the rear.
Suspension is Triumph Herald/Lotus Eclat with Spax coil-over shocks. Adjustable anti-roll bar up front and a panhard rod at the rear. Adjustable everything is the norm on this car. Even the rear spring ride hieght is adjustable!
There's a monster Clarion/Blaupunkt stereo with 6 speakers including two 7 inch sub woofers in specially tuned enclosures in the side panels.
Oh yes ...... and no roof ... in England ..... in the snow ....
