This was the first Minor I had seen or heard of that had been fitted with one of the new 1600cc Twin-Cam Toyota engines. As I've mentioned elsewhere, the Toyota 4A-GE is fast becoming the preferred engine of choice for local Minor Modders.
'LadyBird' is powered by a Toyota 4A-GE complete with electronic fuel injection, driving a 5-speed Celica 'box, through to a Vauxhall Viva Magnum 4.11:1 differential.
The engine uses Mazda 323 gearbox mounts as engine mounts.
The whole car was stripped to a bare shell, rust-proofed and primed before the final Ferrari Red 'Rosso Chiara' paint was applied.
Interior is from a 1993 Mazda 121, with electric windows from a Honda Accord fitted to the Minor side glass.
Front brakes are Viva discs with VH44 booster, rear brakes are Viva 9" drums.
Front suspension is Minor with telescopic shocks, the rear is also Minor w/teles but with oversize stub axle.
