Well, this is a nice little sleeper!
There's not really much to be seen from this pic, but lurking beneath that bonnet is a Morris Marina 1300 engine.
'So what!?' you say? Well, for starters, it's been bored out to 1360cc, sports a Fast Road camshaft, a Stage 3 head and a 1.75" SU Carby. Is that enough? Apparently not!
The pistons have been replaced with special low compression units. This is to allow the Eaton Supercharger to work at its most efficient!! Now that should provide some get up and go!
Behind the block sits a 5-Speed Ford Sierra gearbox, followed by a low ratio Marina diff and rear axle.
But that's not all ...
The suspension has been lowered all 'round by at least 3 inches, and can be raised or lowered by remote controlled hydraulic rams acting directly on the suspension! The front and rear ends can be adjusted independently giving from as little as half an inch clearance up to an off-roading-style 9 inches.
To set it all off, neon lights have been fitted underneath the car which, at night, make the car appear to float above the road.
All in all, a novel approach to Minoring. And congratulations to Martin Roberts of England for actually completing a unique Minor project!
