Hi, Thought I would get the ball rolling! My everyday car is a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX (in Rally Mica Blue) . I work in a Morgan Garage, so get to drive V8 Morgans most days. I have previously owned;- 1)(cheap and nasty ) Cobra replica which I ran while my Moggie was off the road. 2) 1969 Morris Minor Van, bought from a friend as a project but eventually broken for parts/scrapped. Anyone else??? Cheers. Martin

Morgans, kewl Original Cobras ...... ohhhh yeahh! In my garage at various times I've had 3 different 62 Minor 4-doors (1 remaining), a rust-bucket lowlite, a 72 van, and a 69 Traveller (current). Other cars were ... 1992 HSV VP Senator 5000i - 200kW V8 Aussie grunt, sold 1989 Chevron (Lotus-7 look-alike) running a 1.3 Toyota but it's now a bare chassis waiting for the kids to grow up so thet can help me fit the 1.6 supercharged twincam Toyota. And the current daily driver, a 1992 Holden VP Calais V6 that I'm doing up with a body kit, wheels etc to make it look like a VN GrpA SS.

Our driveway and garage are filled as follows; 1969 Ford Transit, highly modified and is the family bus 1971 Ford Falcon ute, my brother's car 1962 Peugeot 403, my daily driver 1987 Ford Falcon wagon, family hack when we are not all going out 1970 Peugeot 404, my project and almost ready for the road 1964 Humber Vogue Sports, my sister's project ( but I do all the work ) 1960 Morris Minor van, project and rough as guts right now. I also until recently had a 1980 Peugeot 604 V6 which is a pretty rare car with only around 50,000 built worldwide and about 600 coming to Australia, few of which survive as tehy were just too wierd, with things like a twin carby setup consisting of a single choke connected to the throttle cable and a twin choke operated by vacuum which was always going wrong, and vacuum operated central locking plagued by leaks which could make the motor run rough too.

Oh, I forgot the restoration project ... 1951 Mk1 Sunbeam Talbot 90 Convertible. I grew up in this car back in the early 70's, me & my brother sitting in the back seat like we were the Beverley Hillbillies Dad started restoring it about 20 years ago but never finished it so my brother took it on, did some good work but has now run out of money to do more work on it - it really is a basket-case but it's the only Mk1 Convertible in NZ! Plus it was used by the Rootes Group competition department for testing and has alloy doors and bonnet. This is it, and my 2 other Minors in the shed One day it'll see the road again ... one day ...

If this goes through I guess the system has at last accepted me as being a good bloke.
Hi Doc Good to see you have some elderly cars and not the usual American near new type
My daily is a 1981 Alfasud. My wife's is a Alfa 75 2.5TC (quite quick) In the yard is a Ford laser1981 my daughter drives (a piece of shit actually) A damaged Honda Integra (daughter ran into the back of someone), a 1950 Low light, a 1952 2 door that gets driven quite often and of course "Folly" the special, which is starting to look quite good.
Allan

Richard fix the bloody thing before I get cross. That reminds me of a joke I read but maybe some other time.

My good weather car is a 1922 Buick open-wheel vintage racer. It's really sort of a combination of a rat rod and what Barney Oldfield might have driven back in the day.... Powered by straight eight OHV with four carbs, uses five speed manual to twist a De Dion rearend setup, has two inboard rear disc brakes, hidden up where they are hard to see. Five inch exhaust pipe dumps pretty much right behind your ears ... but sounds nice and intimidating:) If I could figure out how to post a photo here, I'd send you guys one.
On rainy days I drive a 92 Toyota Camry wagon w/190k miles showing

Besides my 1959 Morris Minor 1000 convertible I have a basket case 1959 morris minor 2 door hard top that is completely gutted and ready for a rebuild. The body work is semi-complete and ready for paint prep and I have a Nissan A15 engine with automatic transmission to install. When finished it will be black exterior, gray interior with chrome wheels. My daily driver is a 1985 chevy Beauville van but I switch off with the convertible. Other vehicles include a Honda 750 motorcycle and a 1995 Olds cutlass. Kenton in southern California
