I've been very busy the last few years, remanufacturing speed equipment for 8HP sidevalve engines. Monaro Motors twin carb manifolds, complete except for HS1 carbs, they should add 10mph to 2nd and 3rd gears, and with judicious tuning will increase top speed to near 75mph.
The Kleinig one peice finned alloy racing head has been completed, it has been strengthened around the head bolts, is thicker on the deck so the water jackets aren't compromised when taking material off, above the valve heads has been thickened also, to allow for fly cutting. Am selling these unmachined as there are so many combinations they could be machined in, do them yourselves to suit.
Next project is either the Mazengarb or Alta OHV conversion, and waterpumps

Very nice parts there. I can imagine the cylinder head in particular is a complicated casting.

Sure was, the pattern maker charged an arm and a leg to do it, Including the water rail, the total cost was getting near AU$10,000 before a core was made or a mould was poured.
Had a very good moulder do the first run, Terry White from Brisbane Foundry, he does the moulding for the people who make the H.R.D Vincents in Sydney.
Just need a few more people to buy them now, to finance the remanufacture of an OHV conversion.
