New to the forum.... with questions!

Hi people, I’m new to the forum so just a quick message to say hello an introduce myself.
I’m 28 an from Stafford in the Midlands an im running a pretty stock 1967 Saloon, it’s got a 1098 Sprite twin carb under the bonnet but apart from that its ‘as was’. I’m looking at playing with it... alot lol. I love tinkering but am by no means a mechanic so expect lots of questions!
I do have a couple of initial questions though.
First off, does anyone know if there’s anyone that still makes the Willies style front end, ive seen a few in pictures an they look fantastic, id love to get my hands on one.
Second, I obviously want to put a nice big Yankee V under the bonnet but need to strengthen up the old girl first, is there anyway of ‘building’ a chassis to support the car? Ive never liked the idea of not having chassis rails...

Hi and welcome to the forum.
There are quite a few threads here on fitting V8's etc, but it's a big job - and costly if you get someone else to do it. Best idea is to buy one already done.

Welcome along. There are a few of us who pop in to the forum from time to time.

For serious power increases like a V8 you really need to go for a full chassis and different front suspension I think. As PO says, there are quite a few examples on this website and forum to crib off.
