Budget Traveller update.
« on: 16-Oct-2006 07:49:11 »

Been playing with my Traveller, Lowered it, and some other bits. Had a spot of luck with the wheels, fitted them today and i'm well chuffed now. Will be tinting windows yellow tonight, still dont know what colour to do the car. Its never going to be a show car just a daily driven bit of fun afro

Hey Mitch, I presume the front wheel arches are flared. How did you go about that?

I've just lowered my truck and notched the arches and rewelded them but it looks pretty average.

Sorry Gas (2fry) i meant to e-mail you and thank you for turbo. I really apreciate it. The front wheel arches are standard. The wheels are 5j 13inch but i have fitted 155's on the front which stretches the tyre so they dont rub. They do stick out of the arches slightly so will need to put standard wheels on for MOT grin It is lowered 2 splines at the front which i know is a bit impractical but it looks good so thats how its going to stay. Will just avoid man hole covers. smiley I've got to buy 1 side of wood. Never fitted it before is it difficult? I'll keep you informed.
