Dave Whincup's Minor has a Fiat Twin-cam up front with 2x45 Webers and K&N filters. There's a 5 speed Abarth gearbox behind the engine and a Mk1 Ford Cortina rear axle with Mk3 Escort discs and Sierra calipers. Suspension is handled by Spax adjustable shocks.
The front end has been converted to adjustable coils overs with a rose-jointed tie bar. The front brakes are Ford Capri vented discs and 4 pot Austin Princess calipers. The wheels are 7"x17" Masitaly's fitted with 205/35x17" tyres.
Dave has fitted 2" oversize rears wings and 2" arch extensions on the front. A front bumper/spoiler took a lot of sourcing but was eventually found and fitted with Ford side repeater indiators. At the rear end the boot has been smoothed with hidden hinges with the lock operated from inside the car. Also on the rear, the lights are '39 Ford with Ford side repeater indicators.
Inside the car is a 4 point roll cage and Saab leather seats.
