'Bessie' is a 1966 Old English White Convertible that our flatmate brought home one day from his Morris Minor specialist workshop 'Over the Hill Motor Company' in Surrey, UK. We looked at it through the lounge window for a day before deciding that it was too good to let go.
It was originally a 2-door saloon but has been converted so well that only a real enthusiast can tell the difference. Little things like the fact that it has sunvisors, and the dashboard gussets are bolted on and not spot welded.
In the last 2 years it has travelled only 2500 miles. That is until we took it to the UK National Rally in 1999 and then on to a week-long tour around Wales...
