Jim Wright has just finished this awesome looking saloon. It's has taken him 18 months to get from rot to "Wow!"
That lovely looking all steel bodywork hides some serious modifications. Under the bonnet lies a Rover V8 mated to a ZF overdrive gearbox with converter lock-up. The 3x2 box section chassis now supports Ford Granada independent suspension with AVO coil-over shocks and disc brakes all round.
If you think that this Minor looks a little wider than usual then you'd be right - about 8 inches wider in fact! Both front and rear wheel arches have been widened by 4".
The Superlite 7x15 alloy wheels are the perfect finishing touch. The Minilite-style wheels have been popular on Minors since the 60's so they make this V8 Minor something of a sleeper.
