Barry & Michelle Hunter are regulars at all the Hot Rod and street machine events around New Zealand in this fabulous radical Morrie. They also have two other modified Minors in the same vibrant shade of green.
I first saw this car back in 1990 at the first New Zealand Morris Minor Convention in Hamilton. It was red with blue pearl flames and was the most radical Minor I have ever seen. Check out how it used to look here It's still damn impressive!
It's had a couple of 'incidents' since I first saw it and has undergone a couple of engine changes. When I saw it, it had a stroked 283cu V8 in it but now it's running a 302 Windsor. The front end has been seam welded and made into a one-piece flip front. Barry has widened the rear guards even more and lowered the profile of the rear arch so that they cover more of the rear wheel. Wheels are 8" Cragars on the rear and 6" slots on the front.
Barry & Michelle have a thing for green as can be seen by the line-up of their Minors in the last pic - and you can be sure that if any more creations come out of their garage they'll be the same colour . . .
